4th gen rearend.

Hello...I am looking at buying a 94 Camaro for a few parts, interior etc... Does anyone know if the rearend from a 3.4 liter V6 Camaro will fit my 86 Z28? What gears would be in it, it is a 5 speed manual tranny? Is it hard to change the axles etc...so I can have the same bolt pattern to put my rims on the back?

I did it, same swap. the rear probably has drums, so make sure yours does too. mine has 3.23s. the right side e0brake cable will not be long enough. everything else bolts up, and your wheels will stick out 2" more on each side. It looks awesome though!

Do you have any pics or a website with pics of yours after the new rearend went in? Are there any downsides to doing this that you have encountered since? I think the laws locally here want the tires within the wheel wells, do they stick out of the wheel wells on yours?
