I'm not sure if I bent that long bar connecteto the rear end when I replaced it because when I put the rear end back on the car it was hell lining up that bar to screw those bolts in behind the wheel well, that skinny bar that runs along the rear end.u think I should change that bar.I changed the shaft and the wheel bearing because the car turns hella hard to the left now.it didn't do that before I changed the rear end.now it kinda moves like it shifts or sways and then pops

Re: Rear end shifts and makes pop noise
need to try again with trhe first post. I have a really hard time reading that.

the bar with round bushings on each side that runs side to side behind the axle is the panhard bar. If its bent, it will be quite obvious, since its supposed to be straight. if it looks like this

its bent, and iut could be even worse than this.

as for as it not lining up, that can be "normal", since it locates the rear side to side. If the axle is not sitting perfectly centered, the bar will not hook right up, you will have to push the axle over a bit to get ti to line up. No big deal.

as far as turning, not sure what you are getting at. Seems like you replaced the axle shaft on one side and the wheel bearing? or are you now talking about the front of the car? If its hard to turn, something is binding somewhere.
