I want to do it, but this is the one thing I have never touched on a 3rd gen. Is it worth it too clean it up? Oh ya the car has no engine now anyways. How easy would it be, if I consider a engine swap a somewhat minor job?

VERY easy with the motor and trans out .. drop the sway bar , disconnect the pitman arm from the center drag link , unbolt the top of the struts , disconnect the brakes lines at the rubber lines , and then you can
drop the 6 bolts holding the subframe in I have mine loose waiting for Ground Control to run the "weld in" weight jack kits !!!! they have orders for 3 so far .. probably waiting for 5 or something ... I've been waiting 3 months !!!!

 

Will the springs shoot out?

 

oh yeah .. I'm running the 5.5 x 9.5 springs
so I forgot about you stockers :\ ... not to mention the usual disclaimers ... don't stare into the sun ...etc ...etc ..
