SubFrameConnectors?
Is there anything that needs to be done before Sub Frame Connectors are installed?
Which are better, bolt on or weld on?

the weld ins are the only way to go, the bolt ones really do nothing, also check to see what the companys says, sometimes you will have to relocate some of the suspention or bash up the floorboards.

My Global West SFCs are weld-ins. The fit with a single cat (LG4) was perfect--no modification required.

Yeah, weld-in are the only way to go. The bolt in kind will never do as much, plus the bolt are subjected to almost continual stress, which causes the holes that the bolts go through to enlarge over time. Then your bolt-on SFCs are even less effective and you have large holes in your frame.
I would get SFCs that fit your car as is. Spohn, Global West (I think) fit. BMR does not make 3rd gen SFCs. Competition Engineering makes ones that required floorpan modification. Why mess with your floor pan though?
I was going to cut out my rear floor pan, invert it, and weld it back in to make room for mufflers down below to ease my dual exhaust setup. I took out the passenger side back seat and looked at it. The seat needs that hump. To simulate what it would be like with the floor pans inverted, I put the passenger side seat bottom on the driver side seat and tried to sit. I could manage, but I had to bend way forward because of that roof part of the car. I you raise your rear floor pans, I would suggest removing the back seat. But if you want to do that, those comp engineering SFCs are half the price of any others.

Having installed both, I am going to say get the Jegster bolt in subframe connectors. Drive the car around a few weeks, then weld them in. It is much easier. I put a set of the SPOHN Weld in connectors in an 89 Iroc ... what a pain. I have a set of competition engineering bolt in SFC's that I welded in a few weeks ago with great results.

Buy the bolt on and then weld them. I know from experience
