higher ride

i want my car to sit a little higher so i can have room for exhaust clearence. i still have the stock 6 cylinder suspension with a 350. what can i do to make my ride a little higher. thanx

You answered your question in your post. The V6 suspension is not designed for a V8. The rear might be, but the front certainly isn't. How many miles are on the car? If it has high miles and you still have the stock suspension replace it with new parts. What kind if interferance are you having with the exhaust?

my header on the driver side points straight down, and with the collector it already sits lower then the crossmember. the car has. 145003 miles on it
