Heavy Duty Struts??

I am about to put a 402 into a 1988 iroc z and was wondering if anybody knew of any good aftermarket heavy duty struts that would support the weight of a big block

Re: Heavy Duty Struts??

The springs support the weight, not the struts.

The struts are just shocks that control bounce & rebound.

Re: Heavy Duty Struts??

2 options.

1) stock IROC or 91-92 Z28 springs are the stiffest stock springs. You could try those.

2) get a ground control weight jack setup with 800lb front springs, and adjust the ride height to suit you.
