will coil springs from an 86 caprice work in my camaro. I know im beaing cheap but i already have the springs and it would be more convienient. also would the rear end from the caprice work, its posi and i only have a 1 legger. thanx

Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
The springs may fit but the spring rate will be all wrong.
The diff itself won't fit. It's the wrong width and there's no place to attach the torque arm. If it's a 7.5" 10 bolt (should be for an 86) then you could take the gears and posi carrier out and use it in yours.
