15" wheels and 89+ disc brakes

15" wheels and 89+ disc brakes

Is there any problem putting stock 15x7" wheels on the larger 89+ disc brake rear ends? Is there enough clearance? How about aftermarket 15x10" drag rims?

I did a search and couldnt find this...

Yup, they clear, but only by an eighth of an inch. Get a piece of gravel in there and it'll scrape fer sure.

I ran my stock '84 wheels over the big disks for a whole summer.
