34mm swaybar bushing question...again

I'm installing a wonderbar on my RS and I want to replace my front swaybar and end link bushings while I'm down there. I want to use ES bushings, but I can't find a 34mm greasable bushing part number. Does anyone know of it or should I just use the 33mm one?

Thanks guys..

Ed

Looks like ES doesn't make a 34 mm greaseable.
Their greasable part numbers are here: http://www.energysuspension.com/swaybb.html

I wouldn't use the 35 mm but you might get away with using the 33 mm, #9-5167

I've used the Non grease fitting bushings on a lot of things and haven't had any squeaking. I use their teflon loaded grease during assembly and it lasts for years.

Camaro 34mm bushing = #3-5131
end links = #9-8117

I used the 33 or 32 mm non-greaseable and converted them to greasable myself. It's fairly easy to do if you have a Dremel tool and drill motor. I drilled a hole in the center of the sway bar bushing retainer shell then screwed in a Zerk fitting. I had the ES bushing in when I drilled the shell, so it was drilled through to the center as well. Then I cut circumferential and X cuts both inside and outside of the bushing for the grease to flow.

I used the regular poly bushing. It will squeak for a few days only after driving through big puddles.

I'll probably end up doing what Lon did, as I've ordered the 3-5131 part number. I e-mailed ES about offering a greasable 34mm bushing and I got this reply:" We don't have it, sorry."

Thanks a lot ES...

later....
