Lakewood Struts
I just bought a pair of Lakewwod struts, part number 40500 for my car and the insttructions say don't remove the wire strap until positioned in veehicle. A picture of the strut at the Mr. Gasket website shows the starp. Only thing is there is no wire strap. How do you get the piston rod to extend out of the strut? There's a picture on the side showing a rotation of the rod and the end is hex headed. Is that how it works? If anyone's had experience with these struts a little instruction would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lakewood Struts

Re: Lakewood Struts
so turn it clockwise and see if it pops out, and they should shoot out quite quickly. Mine had a tab bracket on it, but this was years ago
