Re: HSR with Strut braces

I was unable to find the pic where a member used a BMR 2pt and made a spacers to fit under the mount at the strut towers. Looked good, I am planning on trying this but with a 3pt BMR stb.

Re: HSR with Strut braces

i have been pondering how do make one work with my hsr too. but from what i hear with the guys running the stock hood, its already a super tight fit,,so how would a strut brace fit too??? i have the ss hood, so i may get lucky, but idk about the rest of you who are using stock hoods.

Re: HSR with Strut braces

A 3 point brace that tied the 2 strut towers to the center of the cowl would avoid the hood clearance issue. Don't know why someone hasn't fabbed one yet. I bet they would sell a bunch.

agreed^. im running stock hood in pics right now. have a big block stinger hood that will be going on at some point. the stock hood is to low. you can see the location of my throttle body indented in my hood. luckly not to noticable. would like to see if someone has this setup...
