I recently had the front driver side ball joint replaced the mechanic said all else is good until I drove it home and still every time I turn the wheel hit the gas /brake the front end has a clicking sound and its annoying to drive the car, anyone have any insight?.

Nature of the beast. A wonderbar helps, but even after redoing my entire front suspension, I still get creaking on slow tight turns (like parking lots). I just choose not to turn like that anymore, and I've learned to park accordingly.

Clicking or clunking anyways i would check your swaybar bushings and links
Stock tires?? Check for any rubbing could be a wheel bearing going also

Shake the frontend down to see if anything is loose, also check brake pads for movement in the caliper & also check A-arm bushings for wear.

if it didn't do it before he changed the balljoint, take it back to the shop that did the balljoint and talk to that "mechanic" cause he obviously didn't put it back together right.
