Founders Bolt-in LCARBS + PBR 9-bolt
Wasn't going to install these in my car just yet but I went and held them in place where they would go it looks like the pbr emergency brake cable brackets are going to interfere. Not sure quite yet how much I'm going to have to trim but its definitely gonna need to be done.
I seems like I can just trim enough off to clear and not go all the way to the cable housing but only installation will tell.

bend the brackets or remove them if your state doesn't require them for inspections?

Re: Founders Bolt-in LCARBS + PBR 9-bolt
Ok I lied, I went ahead and installed them. Took a whiz wheel to them and worked out well, just enough room to spare. No real harm done and I'm astonished at how easily they installed!
Once I got the bracket bolted up I took my BMR fixed poly/poly control arm, raised it up and the holes were 100% perfectly aligned on both sides.

For founders, I'm definitely a repeat customer.

I could have trimmed this one a little more but it'll do.

Re: Founders Bolt-in LCARBS + PBR 9-bolt
That's EXACTLY what I had to do when I put LCARBs on my car. I think mine were Spohn, but it hardly matters; by definition, the LCARB has to be just exactly there, there really isn't much choice; but the brake bracket happens to intrude into that volume. Not much else you can do about it.
Didn't seem to really bother the function of anything.

If your talking about the ear I think your talking about, it goes right on the front side of the shock mount and the shock bolt goes through it. If it wasn't there then there wouldn't be any way to keep the bracket from rotating.
