the po before my po, had either 20s r 22s on the back with 18s r 20s on the front (smaller on front than back). well. the shocks were SHOT. replaced em. and i'm still bottoming out. apprx 2 weeks later, i changed the coil springs on the back. but, if i hit a bump the wrong way, i still bottom out..... and its still a little loose bounce wise. i have stock height moog coil springs on the back, with monroe shocks/struts. could riding the shocks down some of the worse roads in louisiana with ruined springs ruined the new shocks??? do they need to be replaced .again.? thanks!


p.s. i don't know if this is needed, but, the old shocks that were on there, were completely ruined. the back shocks actually leaked all over...

 

what line of monroes are you running? their lower lines aren't the beefiest thing out there. If you've got the money in your budget, the KYB GR2 or Gas-a-Justs are only a little more and a nice improvement. How old are the springs?

 

It was the ultras i believe. It was the middle option i think. Nt the cheapest. The springs were bought brand new. Right nw, they're probably about a month to a month and a half old. Thanks!
