V8 struts on a V6?
My '91 3.1 struts/shocks/springs are original and very 'done'. I have a '86 TA parts car that has had replacements but probably some time ago. I can't afford new yet so can I use the TA struts and rear shocks/springs on the 3.1? I figure the front springs are not going to work but I'm not sure about the rest.

Re: V8 struts on a V6?
shocks and struts will work without issue since they're the same for all engines
springs will also fit without issue, but the front end may sit a bit higher since the v8 springs have to compensate for the extra weight. however, since these cars have a few years and miles on them, they may be sagging at this point
