different struts and the shocks?

im in the process of ordering parts since its winter and the cars about to go off the road and iv decided to do my shocks and struts and i order my shocks from rock auto the other day, they are monroe matic plus shocks, well my plan was to just get the matic plus struts so they would match but then i noticed that rockauto also has the sensa track struts and iv heard those are better than the matic plus's. so could i run the sensa track sturts while running the matic plus shocks? or would i be better to get both?

Re: different struts and the shocks?

It really doesn't matter. Just pick what you want to buy/drive and go with it. The car can't tell any difference.

Just for an extreme example, I ran Koni Yellows and new springs in the back along with original struts and springs up front for about 3 months. It was actually kind of interesting being able to compare the two setups. But for actual driving back and forth to work and cornering on the highway, the oddball front/back didn't cause anything to be out of whack.
