Engine: 5.0l 305 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: borg-warner 9 bolt 3.27
proven suspension?
i have a 98 trans am and with my tax returns this year im going to do some upgrades to my car. mainly doing full suspension. torque arm. sub. connectors. lca's and lca brackets. im just curious if anyone has proven time slips from the track to see what the actual tenths you pick up from suspension

You probably won't gain anything. Suspension upgrades usually just helps consistency by removing flimsy and sloppy factory components.

I have the alston SFC's trom TDS there good but I am going to add the Spohn outside conectors as well to make my car more solid.

Actually upgrading suspension will allow it to hook better improving 60 ft time. With adj torque arms you can angle the pinion of the rear end allowing you to adust "bite" of the ground and really get a good launch. Also upgrading things like a-arms k members there going shave weight off. Heres a link to a streetlegal tv post that can give you more information on it

yeah im trying to get ride of my cars spinning through first and second. my buddy has a 00 ss 6 speed and with the torque arm alone helped his 60ft. i have the 98 auto and if i dont feather the throttle on a launch it just roasts the tires.
