drag race rear suspension

I have an 88 camaro sbc turbo 400/brake and a 3000 conv bmr adj tourqe arm, moser 9 in 4:30 gears adj lower control arms strange single adj shocks and 275/60/15 mickey thompson drag radials. The problem I have is this car wont hook at the starting line or else it wheel hops badly I have tried different pinion angles and shock settings as well as tire pressure nothing helps this is just a basic 435hp edelbrock mtr any help?

If you have a torque arm and LCA's already, relocation brackets are the next part of the puzzle.

How much pinion angle are you putting in it?

I have -5 degrees now but have tried several different angles this car runs from a best of 1.69 to 1.84 6o foots but wont run back to back and will just spin big time out of the blue or wheel hop badly
