Are there any stb for an 82 bird out there that dont look like they were made from a coat hanger?

This is the only one i could find that said it would fit an 82 but it looks flimsy as heck.

I just posted on building my own wonder bar out of heavier material than you can buy, I am thinking that I might have to do the same thing for my stb.

 

TopDown sells a nice wonderbar for early third gens. I havnt had any luck with the STB though. I may just have to find someone to make one for me.

 

Anyone? If nobody makes one is there a place that i can have one made? Thanks

 

If you have the measurements and the distance between holes and that your local machine shop should be able to do it. Make a pattern out of stiff cardboard with the holes in it and everything let them know what your doing they may want to look at your car.

 

take a look at the UMI stb its adjustable and mounts on top of the strut plates so there is no drilling needed
