I did a search and couldn't find an answer - What is best to paint the welds for your SFC's with? POR15, primer and undercoater, primer and paint?

The guy who welded mine painted them, but if he hadn't I would've gone with POR-15 or some similar rust preventative paint like I used on my rusted battery tray. I would imagine POR15 is the best for durability and stopping rust but some rustoleum or anything that says it prevents or stops rust would do as long as it's applied right and doesn't chip.
