Car: 92 Camaro RS, 93 Caprice Classic
Engine: 3.1L V6, 5.0L V8 + 700r4 on both
Transmission: Rebuilt 700r4 in the Camaro
Axle/Gears: Stock with 3.23s ...3.73 later?
Re: Plz help

It's my understanding that dimensionally the springs are the same, as the basic suspension geometry is the same between the Camaro and Firebird. The springs will fit fine, no stress.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Plz help

the basic suspension geometry is the same
That's a bit of an understatement...

The Firebird and Camaro are the in fact same car, with minor differences in sheet metal wrinkles and sticker packages. Identical in every way as far as construction.

The springs do not care what version of those things are around them.

Re: Plz help

I've heard its possible to change them without a spring compressor, but I'd use a spring compressor myself. There's plenty of info on ways to change them if you do some looking.
