Spring / Shock Combo
I'm in the research stage on lowering my 84 Z28 1".
I am leaning towards Koni Yellows/KYB AGX and Eibach/Hotchkis.
I have noticed that the Hotchkis springs are about 1/3 more than the Eibach springs which makes me wonder why. I am looking to improve the overall look and handling of the car.
Also are there any other parts I should consider replacing/upgrading or taking a closer look at when doing this installation?
Any info or personal preferences would be helpful.
A little history of the car; I am the original owner, the car has been garage kept all of it's life, never driven in the snow and only sees water when its washed. It is completely stock with about 60k miles.
The car is driven on a occasional basis.

Re: Spring / Shock Combo
Sounds like you got some nice parts picked out. A lot depends on what you use your car for, Nice day cruiser, spirited driving, AutoX/RR. If your looking to improve handling on a cruiser I'd recommend the eibach springs over the hotchkis cause they have a higher spring rate. You can't go wrong with Koni yellows but I don't know why KYB AGX wouldn't work for you. 1" drop is a real safe mod that doesn't require a lot of other things to make it work.

Thanks plum92_92 camaro for your input. The car is definitely a nice day cruiser, but after driving a full size pickup all week, I'm not afraid to "lean" into the car when I take it out.
