custom torque arm and mount.

I am thinking of using my old torque arm as a template and making one about the length of a ladder bar and mounting it to a custom cross member. It would incorporate a driveshaft loop and be tied into the subframe. It would all be mild steel with solid rod ends. I am a little concerned about it changing the center of gravity similar to the lower control arm mini ladder setup.

Anyone think this would work? I am just looking to get rod of the weak non adjustable stock one without spending a fortune.

Check this one out, it is a tunnel mounted piece that is reasonably priced. Trust me it works well...

First time I've heard of that company! Their other products look good though. Wish they had pics of their f-body stuff.

Decent prices on rod ends and DOM tube in pre-cut lengths too (if anyone on here actually builds their own stuff), the sets of 8 heims save ya a few bucks.

Pic's are coming soon, right now the only pieces are on my car. With any luck I will get it on the lift this week so we can get some installed pics.

FWIW, I am the Product Development Specialist, we started up as on off-shoot of a more industrial company. More products are in the pipeline, just getting our manufacturing integrated with our current products has been a little challenging.
