Well I installed my Ground control weight jacks on my car last night so I could start on the subframe connectors.
The fronts seem to fit real nice adjustment wise. Now the rear with my rear end lowered all the way at the shocks limit I can install the weight jacks no issues, as in I can put the adjuster in the diff perch, then take the spring and put it in with room to spare. (im talking like at least an inch or two)
I don't plan on jumping stuff in my car but it still worries me if I hit a set of tracks to quick that im gonna lose the rear springs. This is with the stock rubber isolater zip tied to the top of the spring.
Should I order some suspension straps/limiters? Im gonna look at it a bit better tonight to see where I can bolt a strap to on the body tonight.
Rears are 175lbs and 9.5" or 10" I did a quick measure last night but cant recall. Also running 3rd gen specific Koni Yellows
Another thing was GC welds the bottom of the adjuster/perch. I wish this was a CNC piece. The weld sits on the axle perch making it stick up in areas instead of seating flat.

I think you would have to get that thing seriously airborne to drop a spring. I have my doubts you will ever extend ur suspension while driving as much as you did to install the springs
Thats what I figure, more or less a peace of mind thing, and the hassle if it ever goes on a lift etc and a spring falls out lol

I haven't installed my rears yet but I would imagine like the fronts, when you get them adjusted to ride height they won't be loose anymore at full extension.. My fronts fit loose at full low with the car in the air so I adjusted the slack out of them (I was having trouble keeping the upper cup aligned in the kmember), set the car down, then continued to adjust the weight jacks (up) to my preferred ride height.

I have them on the back of my car and I have never driven it yet but but every when they're not tight in there when its jacked up I think it would be very difficult for them to fall out. Unless likely said when ur cars on a lift or something but even then it's unlikely
That worst that will happen is the spring and adjuster will get kinked into an angle with each other. I've heard of that happening fairly often, actually.
You still have your bump stops right?

Wouldn't straps fix this "peace of mind" issue so that the spring and weight jacks don't ever separate on an angle?

I run straps for that very reason on my grey iroc
Ya I think in the new year when I get back to working on the car im going to measure and strap it.
yes I kept the rear bump stops on the car also.
I currently have the car on the suspension so I can finish off my front end so it may be a while before I can fix this issue. I will post pics for people when im done.
