How much spline does the steering box have ? I want to buy a new one becaune mine is goddamn loose.

You want the 6550. Keep in mind that Cardone reman units are generally worn out pieces of junk with fresh paint. You may need to go through several to get a good unit. You would be better off picking one up from your local Advance Auto because of this, and also because they're $40 cheaper than Summit when ordering online and using promo code TRT41.

I got mine from Rock Auto, I can't remember who made it off the top of my head, but it seems pretty good so far. Cheaper than anywhere else too.

I'd just find the cheapest one you can locally at a parts store (for the warranty/convenience). Make sure you ask for one from a z28/ws6 and adjust it properly:
