So i purchased this 1986 iroc z28 shell and found some damage under the car. It looks like they ran something over and the way the metal is bent up kinda scares me. I have big plans for this car its very clean other then this damage underneath and a little on the floorpan + fender. I think all this damage may be from the same incident. looks Like it took a hard hit to do this kind of damage. Im just wondering is it enough to bend the unibody? Should i have a shop look at it?
Theres also a little damage here

Re: 86 iroc damage underneath? bent unibody? pics xx
looks fixable to me-myself,i'd straighten/repair the damaged areas, check straightness of body(probably is ok with just that undercarriage damage)then install good SFCs and a few other chassis reinforcements since car is stripped anyway.Flexi chassis was one of GMs big screw-ups with these cars and ALL thirdgens being rebuilt will benefit greatly from the SFCs/reinforcements.
