Do I have any option here?? Founders strut mounts and Konis

I just bought a pair of Founders Performance strut mounts and Koni struts. I do not like the fact that there is an opening in the strut mount for dirt/debris to pass through. I also do not like the fact that the piston is exposed on the Koni strut.

Has anyone made a cover for the strut mount?

Does anyone sell boots for the struts or am I just overlooking both of these issues?

Whether you need to cover/protect the strut with a boot is highly debated. You'll get 50% telling you it doesn't matter, they didin't do anything about it. And the other half says, "I put a boot/strut bellows/dust cover on just in case to protect the seal". So honestly it's up to you.

I personally have the J&M Products strut mounts (identical to yours and I think UMI) and konis. I did buy some cheap strut bellows at advance auto for like $13. They just zip tie onto the strut.
