Needing Alignment
Ill finally have my '89 Firebird on the road next weekend but first I need to have my exhaust done as well as an alignment. The car has new tires on eagle 15" wheels and new front rotors/pads plus wheel bearings. Other than that I did install the astro steering shaft and a manual s10 steering box.
My main question is can any shop do the alignment or would I be better off going with a Chevrolet dealer? Should I go with a 4-wheel alignment?
And lastly does anyone have the specs for what I should have my camber/caster and toe set at?
Car will just be a daily driver btw.
After a quick search I found a Chevy dealer doing a special on 4 wheel alignments for $70. Should I expect any issues having an alignment done on a car this old?

Re: Needing Alignment
there is nothing really special about a third gen F body: there are no upper control arms that require shims like the older cars, so even a dealer tech should be able to do it without an issue. and they will probably only do it to factory specs, so don't bother looking for better specs to give them other than to tell them to try to keep the caster to the "positive" (top of strut back towards the firewall) side of the tolerance and the camber to the "negative" (top of tire in towards the engine) side. they will probably just have a screen that shows red for out of spec and green for in spec, so any actual numbers will be meaningless to them..
