k member triangle braces and swaybar mount under gearbox torque specs
Im getting my 86 trans am back together and I cant find the torque specs for the triangle braces on the k member and the sway bar mounting bracket that is under the steering box. Both of my manuals don't show anything about them.

Torque goes with hardware size. You don't need "specs".
That would be, somewhere in the 40 - 45 ft-lb range for the sway bar bushing bolts (10mm), and 20 - 25 for the little braces (8mm).

Just also be cautious that the hardware is meant for automotive use. run of the mill grade 3 stuff bought from a hardware shelf will twist or bend. When I first started I learned this lesson. Any suspension or engine hardware should be the best you can buy. Heck I even switched to stainless for the sheet metal screws.
