anyone ever make a top hat to run 240sx coilovers?

anyone ever make a top hat to run 240sx coilovers?
finally talked my brother into getting a third gen again and he does this drifting stuff and when we was lowering the car he was kicking around the idea of just building or modifying a top hat/caster camber plate so you could us the 240 coil overs since the are much cheaper and he has a few pair rolling around his shop, anyone done anything like this or with other vehicle coil overs?

It will add some weight bearing to the LBJ, which is not a prob.
The off the shelf stuff will be tuned to a slightly lighter front end, and probably lower rate valving.
So, after you mod things to work, and have to buy double adjustable to get a good tune on things, was it worth the effort? I don't know but it might be if there is an actual benefit to the end result. Easier to adjust height?
