Front struts and springs

I'm looking to put a Chevy big block in my 87 ta can I get heavier struts and springs to hold the extra weight and where

Yup.

Parts store. Moog 5664 springs, struts of your choice.

Welcome to TGO, Bad Santa;
Springs hold the car up. Think of shocks/struts as timing devices (oversimplification).
Big Block (cast iron?) is going to need #900-#1000 front springs.
The go to struts are Koni Yellows.

How far along are you, or are you just thinking about it?
