Maxed out camber caster plates

I got a set of J & M caster camber plates
but I can't manage to get the correct alignment
(I'm using a camber caster gauge)
I MAXED the caster and camber settings and was only able to get 4 degrees caster and Zero camber.

the original mounts were able to get an alignment at a shop no problem.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Maxed out camber caster plates

Check where the street mounts to the spindle... Other things to check are a arm bushing and of course bent parts...

I checked the Strut bolts, and they are tight.(120lbft +30 degrees)
A-arm bushings have about 200 miles on them and arn't cracked or broken.
well, guess I'm in for some fun.

Are you sure your caster camber gage is accurate? how about putting the gage on another car to see what it reads?

That's a good idea.
My brother has a Corolla in storage I can test it on.
