Koni Monotube vs. Twin Tube for 1985 IROC

So, I just pulled out my 1985 IROC from being garaged for 12+ years.

Issue of concern - car is bottoming out in the rear. All factory installed shocks/struts/springs. Looking to keep it stock height.

In all my research to purchase new shocks/struts, I have narrowed it down to Koni Sport Yellows. But here is the catch, I now understand for the rears I can go with the monotube (30-1265 Sport 82-92 Camaro) or the twintube (8241 1140 Sport 93-02 Camaro).

While I like the fact of the monotube design pros vs. cons, I also like the benefit of the twintube being adjustable without removing it from the vehicle. The monotube is adjustable, but needs to be removed to adjust.

Should I choose the twintube design, what am I sacrificing over the other for weekend spirited driving?

#3
Do I really need to care about cavitation in twintubes or them having a 'softer ride' than the monotubes?

Monotube (30-1265 Sport 82-92 Camaro) or Twintube (8241 1140 Sport 93-02 Camaro).

Thanks in advance for all your inputs, thoughts & recommendations.
