Spring Recomendation
My G/F's '91 V6 RS has been lowered, actually "slammed" by a previous owner. We like the way it looks but it's waaaay too low, it hits and scrapes everything, and it is so uncomfortable it rides like an ironing board. I think it was lowered by heating the springs or cutting them, but the shocks and bumpstops are bottoming out. I would like to replace the springs with some aftermarket lowering springs, I don't wish to go back to stock hieght but we do need to improve the ride, a long trip is misery due to the number of times required to stop and rest your battered kidneys and bladder!
Eibach Pro-Kit. Not too low, not too high, firm ride (not stiff, but not stock).
Hotchkis also have good springs. I haven't had experience with any other aftermarket springs ('cause everyone seems to get the above two

I have the Eibach Sportline springs under my car, ride is not to harsh but firm and it handles tight. Anything is going to be better than hitting bump stops though. Nothing rubs on my car with factory 16 inch rims and stock size tires. I installed Hotchkis LCA's and panhard rod to improve axle control and center rear after lowering. Axle was off center just a little bit after springs. Hope that helps.
