Replacement Steering Box for a 1985 TA
Happy Holidays All:
Own a 1985 Trans Am and after 30 years of ownership and 180K on her, the Original GM Steering Box is Leaking. What brands of Gear Boxes are good Replacements other than OEM Remanufactured AC Delco Steering Gear Box Part #: 36G0104 (19321359) from Rock Auto for $162.79
There are other brands out there that are also listed as Remanufactured or Resto-Boxes, so looking for a good Recommendation on a Replacement Gear Box if anyone has replaced there already. Should I go OEM or Aftermarket, Switch to a Quick Ratio Gear Box.
Looking for Direct Replacement with No Modifications, maybe a higher performance gear box while retaining the original factory look, if it exists at all.
