Psc vs turnone vs lee steering boxes & pumps

Does anybody have some feedback on any of those 3 companies? I cant decide on what steering box to go with. I heard psc is pricey but worth it. I like the 3 bearing box that lee can do. And turnone i read is super legit as well.
Any insight is helpful guys thanks

Re: Psc vs turnone vs lee steering boxes & pumps

Turn One is the benchmark in today's world. Cost? They all have become ridiculous. Lee use to be number one in NASCAR a decade ago before he came down with Altzhiemers and refused to give up control until he ran the business into the ground. Looks like the next generation of his family is making a comeback. TurnOne is used by everyone in Professional auto racing- hence why the sticker shock. They have the premium client lock and set the bar. From what I recall about their history is the two guys that started it came out of the Saginaw factory and were the only guys with new worm drive gears a few years back when there was a huge shortage.

I personally run a Lee gearboxs from years back when he was worth a .... and then in the recent decade I have PSC pumps and accesories in my main street hotrods (not 3rd gen) but I used PSC a lot in NASCAR over the last decade as well with steering drive systems and pumps- not so much boxes because most we are regulated to spec OEM part to keep cost in check.(I managed numerous professional race teams in NASCAR more at the grass roots levels. The top guys on TV are the high dollar clients using TurnOne)

In other words, if money is not an issue? then Turn One. Not all of us have that kind of budget for that kind of tiered quality- I personally feel that money can be better spent elsewhere but if you already have then they are the best money can buy. Its to you whether you can justify the cost. I personalty can't but wish I could.

I have a 10 or so year old lee box on my car, no complaints.I think Lee still had (most of) his marbles back then.

Here, a recent shot of some PSC on one of my vehicles. They make beautiful remote reseviors as well as quality pumps for the value.
