Can't find frontal lower control arms 92 firebird.

I'm new to this restoration thing but with that being said, I do know a bit about fixing most vehicles, so I'm not that bad off. I'm just having issues finding frontal lower control arms for my 92 Pontiac firebird. The issue here is that the sway bar link bolt holes bored out of the lower control arms so I'm attempting to find replacements.the only replacements I can find that or a correct fit or the $600 pair from jegs.I was really hoping that maybe somebody would be able to point me in the right direction so that I may purchase both of my lower control arms without spending an arm and a leg. Hopefully. If I can't find another for a decent price is it safe to use grade 8 steel washers to refabricate a hole?

Yup, weld them right up. Some use a S10 control arm but you need to check the steering stop length.

I take it that I can test the steering stop length by putting it on and turning the wheel? Lol is there any other way to test that?

Also, what year S10 should I be ordering the arm for? I really appreciate the response by the way. I am so happy to hear this news!

Welding up the sway bar link holes is OK to do. For new arms:

i used 2000 S10 2WD control arms. You can also use 81-88 G-body lower arms.

I have a set off my 90RS with 34k original miles on them. I'm now willing to sell them for the right offer.
