Can't find frontal lower control arms 92 firebird.
Can't find frontal lower control arms 92 firebird.
I'm new to this restoration thing but with that being said, I do know a bit about fixing most vehicles, so I'm not that bad off. I'm just having issues finding frontal lower control arms for my 92 Pontiac firebird. The issue here is that the sway bar link bolt holes bored out of the lower control arms so I'm attempting to find replacements.the only replacements I can find that or a correct fit or the $600 pair from jegs.I was really hoping that maybe somebody would be able to point me in the right direction so that I may purchase both of my lower control arms without spending an arm and a leg. Hopefully. If I can't find another for a decent price is it safe to use grade 8 steel washers to refabricate a hole?

Yup, weld them right up. Some use a S10 control arm but you need to check the steering stop length.

Welding up the sway bar link holes is OK to do. For new arms:

I have a set off my 90RS with 34k original miles on them. I'm now willing to sell them for the right offer.
