Im selling my '92 RS and going to use the cash to rebuild the engine in my Dodge Ramcharger and set up the suspension in my '91 RS.
My question here is what to buy I know I need poly bushings, a wounder bar, quicker ratio steering box, strut tower brace, sub frame connectors, and adjustable panhard bar. What do I look for as far as bigger sway bars, and should I buy after market rear lower control arms, or can I box my stock ones like slp does and get the same effect?
I have read that Hotchkis springs and Bilstein shocks and struts are desinged to complament each other. Tell me if im wrong but there is little point in buying poly boots for things such as tie rod ends and ball joints ect... the rubber isnt the load bering element there they are just there to keep the grease in and the dirt out? It isnt that im trying to cut corners but im a poor boy that has to do what he can to save money where he can.
Is there anything i have forgoten to mention, or have incorrect?
The suspension is my first step the tires and wheels are stage two then i will move to the drivetrain. I thank you all for the help and advise David

The poly boots/dust covers are just to prevent oil breakdown of rubber parts. A total extravagance and nothing more.
Look for a 34mm solid sway bar or 36mm hollow bar. Both about the same from a performance standpoint, but the 34mm is easier to find bushing for, and the 36mm is bit lighter. Entirely up to you.
Depending on how you like your handling (over/understeer preference) characteristics, get a rear bar that suits that preference. I like the 24mm rear bar.
Boxing the rear control arms are a cheap mod, and definitely an improvement over the stock form. You could also replace the bushings in them for a little more. Again, if you go poly, the cost will triple. You don't need aftermarket LCAs, but LCA relocation brackets are usually considered a must-do mod if you lower the car.

i know where two 87- 89 iroc parts cars are are they a safe bet for the sway bars i want ? what about a quick ratio stearing box is it likely to be on these cars? what cars do i look for? and how do i idntify the parts? thanks David
