Quick Question on lifting the car...

Is it say to jack up our cars from the pumpkin with the torque arm removed? I have the front on wheel cribs and the back sitting on jack stands. The front is quite a bit higher than the back and I actually need to reverse them. As I lined up the jack I had a vision of the rear rotating on me and falling off the jack. I thought I'd just ask the question before making a mistake. Worst case...I'll use two jacks and raise both sides slowly

You can raise it from under the differential housing long enough to place jack stands under the rear frame rails.

Re: Quick Question on lifting the car...

I have no patience....

I reattached the torque-arm to the rear diff and then used ratchet straps attached to my inner subframe connectors to hold it in place. Worked just fine!
