need suspension help
ok guys
my car is fugged up
here's what wrong:
when i turn the wheel ALL the way to the left and drive (as in pulling out of a parking spot) i hear a REALLY loud clunking noise
and my steering wheel is cocked to the right when i am driving in a straight line..................
i am running 1991 Z28 wheels...........so i dont think tires hitting is my problem
someone told me it sounds like my tie-rods
i want to know what to look for, what performance parts to add and what to rebuild...................i have suspension class this semester and want to rebuild my front suspension for performance........... maybe even add some drop spindles in the front
what are some good performance parts to add?

I had a lot of noise coming from my front end.I bought a kit from p-s-t,it's a polygraphite set up.Its only $159 and comes with every ting but inner tie rods $35 ea.and a center link $45.It was the best $275 up grade I've ever made.Drives like new.I also went with new v8 springs, struts, and rear sway bar poly kit.I also found 2 bad tie rods and centerlink when removed

Could be the same problem I was having with mine. It would also make a clunking sound when turned all the way to either side.
Your problem may be with the steering stops. Put some grease on the part of the spindle that makes contact with the steering stop on the control arm. Did it on mine and solved the problem.
Let me know if this works
