Torque on bushings = yes, tighten them; being about 10mm bolts IIRC, "tight" would be 35 ft-lbs or so
Torque on end links = tighten until elastic material deforms to slightly larger OD than the washers (required torque will depend on their material)

Got it, Thanks. Couple more question on a 1984 Trans Am sway bar bushings.
1) Split direction. On the front sway bar the splits on the factory original was to the back but some say it should face forward . Would it really make a differece ?
2) When ordering bushings. Description are "Front To Frame; 32mm Sway Bar Diameter; w/o Tabs on Mounting Clamps". What are ....Tabs on mounting clamps ?
The rear sway bar bushing splits were facing forward

- I'm not very bright, butt I can't see what difference it would make.
- No idea. Never seen any "tabs" on any of those on any vehicle I've ever worked on.
