some q's about suspension mods
some q's about suspension mods
just had a few simple questions about suspension mods because i'm new and stupid in this territory. first off, i see that alot of guys have aftermarket lca's, panhard rods, and torque arms. which of these are necessary and give the best performance gains. also, whats the difference between the regular ones on the spohn website and the spherical ones that they offer? any help you can offer would be appreciated . thanx

First you need to ask yourself what you want to do with your car.
You'd set your car differently, to be competetive, for each different style. If you want all three, then you'd compromise a little for each.
Drag racin doesn't require a front sway bar, and the best shocks needed wouldn't work for road racing.
A good panhard bar, with a poly & a rod end would be beneficial.
Aftermarket LCA's are a big setup from stock. SFC's really help. After that, it's what you want to do with the car.
- Drag race
- auto-x
- road race
- or all of the above
