Wheel Spin

Ok guys what is your opinion to do here. I seem to have a problem with wheelspin i mean a real problem. I can never get a good launch. When i jump on it it just breaks loose. doesnt seem to matter how fast im going unless im on the highway or some thing. Tires are pretty new. I cant stand it any more my friends 2000 SS keeps kicking my %$$. I know im faster than him he just crushes me off the line Like 2 car lengths in the first 100 feet then i just creep up on him but cant quit catch him. Ive got subframe connectors on the agenda what is the next step. I have heard lots of stories about traxion bars being more trouble that their worth for the average joe. is this true.

Thanx
Adam

if you are using nitrous right at takeoff, try setting it to where it only comes on after you've started. get better tires, doesnt matter if they are new if they weren't made for gripping 300+ horses. also, if you just the peg-leg differential, try putting in a posi. if you dont have a posi, only one tire is spinning, which is a BIG problem.

Try putting as much money into the suspension as you did in the engine and then you should have less traction problems. Shopping List:

SFCs(you already said your getting these, good)
LCA relocators
Boxed/Tubular LCAs
Tubular torque arm
Shocks
Radial slicks
Lighter shoes

Im not using the nitrous yet but when i do it will probobly not be used untill at least the 60 foot mark.

LCA relocators and Boxed/Tubular LCAs Hmm i will have to do some reading on these sounds like a good idea though. does Tubular torque arms help alot or just a little.

Thanx for the ideas guys

the torque arm, and relocation brackets will help the most.

Man with the shopping list ill be set. My first order of business in the spring is to order SFCs, LCA relocators, and the LCA them selves from spohn. I already have KYB AGX shocks on all 4 corners and Eibach Pro-kit springs in 4 corners. Ill launch like mad ********** Yeah! Now to blow out my 9 bolt!
