BFG Drag Radials

I'm running Cooper Cobras at the moment and am looking for more traction. BFG Drag's are expensive over here (twicw the cost of teh Coopers) Will I notice a big difference over the Coopers with this tire? Will they last a few thousand miles?

Cheers

You will see some improvement. I ran cooper cobras for a while and they hooked pretty good for a street tire. I havn't been able to hook very good with my BFG DRs, best of 1.98 60.ft
I was getting mid 2.05s with coopers and futuras.
I think the key to the BFG DRs is having a good launching suspension also. I only have LCAs, the rest is stock, and i think that is why i can't hook.
If you drive them easy they should get a few thousand miles. I just drive mine to the track, so i wouldn't know first hand.
They do suck really hard in the rain, must be very carefull. I've had a few squirelly times in the rain with them, when i am trying to drive very slow!
If you are looking for a DR to drive day to day, I've heard good things about the Nitto drag radials. Better in the rain, last longer.
Hope this helps some.
