Rebuilt caliper and still no brakes?!?!

Ok heres the deal...my rear passenger side brake caliper was leaking fluid so the car sat for months and i did nothing really but start it once in a while and let it run.Now finally i bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt the caliper and theres no more brake fluid leaks.Me and my friend bled the rear brakes and he said lets see how the brakes feel so far b4 doing the fronts. We took it for a ride and the car barely stops, you press the pedal and it basically goes down to the floor and doesnt really stop the car much.

My dad said i might have to bleed the master cylinder now,so my friend opened the line to it while i stepped on the brakes and pumped them.Still the brakes seem the same.

Now im wondering if i need to bleed the front brakes to fix the problem,or if maybe i need a tool to bleed the master cylinder,or if maybe the master cylinder itself is shot.

Please someone help me,at this point i wanna blow up my Trans Am

we had the same prob we when did my buddy's 4runner. we took it to an econo-lube here and they bled the master cylinder and it was all good. try to get it professionally done, its harder than regular bleeding.
