Tire Size?
I am thinking of getting a set of 17 X 8 rims for my 92 RS (originally came w/ 16 X 8 rims) and I was wondering what size tire I need. Will 255/45/17 fit, or will the 245/45/17 be better, will i have any clearance problems (tire rubbing), car is stock height. Also what is the backspacing on the stock rims (front & back)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have 17x8's with 255x45's. I used 4.5" backspacing, and thy don't rub at all, unless at full lock with the suspension unloaded. I also am lowered about an inch and a half. Pictures of my car are in the post "How low can you go", racenero posted them for me
