How do I pre-load my rear suspension to simulate posi?
Hi gang!
Not being overloaded with cash, I want to go the cheap but effective route and pre-load my rear axle so that it simulates a posi rear end.
How is this done?
I assume that it must involve placing spring spacers in the driver's side rear coil so that it remains more highly loaded under torque and thus transfers extra load over to the passenger tire that spins too easily.
Is this correct?
If anyone knows the exact parts and procedures that work well for a 3rd gen, please post them for me.

You can buy a set of airbags (by AirLift) for $60 from Summit Racing, put one in the passenger side rear spring, and put air in it. That'd force the passenger rear tire down more. When you floor the gas, the whole car twists in a clockwise direction (as you stand facing the rear bumper). This causes a loss of traction over the passenger side tire. If you put a bag in the right rear spring, the car won't twist up, and the tire should grip more.
The air bag on the right is excellent. The passenger side tire is actually trying to lift off the ground. While the driver's side is getting a majority of the load. The reason for this is the drive shaft spins clockwise(when standing behind the car) & When the load of the spinning drive shaft has to make the 90degree turn in the ring & pinion. The whole rear end wants to spin like a propeller on a airplane when there's a load on it (traction from the tires). So by preloading the right side with the air bag you kinda put a band aid on the posi rear that U must get asap!
