question about lowering suspension

Is lowing the suspension more of a looks thing or is there a performance reason for doing it? Only reason i ask is i'm buying a new camaro and it's got a 2 inch drop supension and i'm just curious if that's a good thing or bad thing. Thanks.

I don't think it's really more one than the other. Lowering it can give you a mean stance, but it's also lowering the center of gravity to help make it handle better. All depends on what you're going for. I'm putting my IROC wheels on sometime this weekend, then I'm making the call on if it's getting lowered or not...

Lower Is Better...

Careful Tho, as you lose suspension Travel.

It Will lower your center of gravity wich helps handling quite a bit.

I personally think stock height Car's are WAY to high. Mine was a 4x4 when I got it.

Also, I think it depends on how you lower your car too...
Did it come with drop spindels?
