Spohn Adj. LCA's Is Adjustable really worth it?
I have been reading the boards and some people have alot of good things to say about these and some people do not like them. I just ordered the adjustable ones for my car and it is primarily a street driven vehicle. I also ordered the re-location brackets since I have read they do seem to make a big difference in addition I ordered the adj. poly/poly panhard rod aswell. Are the adjustable LCA's really worth the extra $ and trouble or do they compliment everything else i bought pretty well? I would appreciate anything feedback I could get on this.
No, you just wasted your money on the adjustable LCA's and brackets. You should of stayed with the non-adjustable ones.
Well too late now, good luck on your adjustments and screwed up pinion angle.

Hey Z28, do you have anything to back up your claim? I would like to hear from someone who actually has these or someone just using the non-adj. LCA's.
Your pinion angle won't be screwed up if you just set them to the same length as factory. I bought the adjustable too...don't know if they'll be worth it, but I figured that I sure as hell didn't want to spend the $ and wind up wishing I'd gone with the adjustables later. I'm sure the adjustables can help, I just don't know how to make them do it...yet

Pinion angle is only affected by the torque arm, so swapping LCA's won't affect it.
Adjustable length LCA's allow you to correct the axle to be perpendicular to the car centerline. This is particularly helpful in correcting for errors in either the relo bracket fabrication or installation.

I have the Spohn non-adjustable rear LCA's and Panhard bar and
they do help on launch & tighten the rear end. I think on a daily driver you do not need the Adjustable ones, just another item that will screw up.

Thank you for all the posts everyone. I ordered the reloc. brackets as well and I do take my car to the track every now and then. (see sig. for results) I guess I can put the LCA's on and if I do not like them I can send them to Steve along with the brackets and get the non-adj. ones. Guess I will just have to wait and see.
