Temp Switch thingie??

I want to put on the temp. switch thing from Hypertech to lower the temp setting so that the electric fan turns on to 180*.

1.) Will this screw up my computer at all?
2.) It is located on the passenger side head near the firewall right?
3.) Any tips on installation or comments about the product?

Thanks yall, I'm hoping to go order it tonight from the local parts store, so it will be here when I change my wires on Friday.

No. The fan switch works independantly of the ECM.

Yup.

Remove it before removing exhaust manifolds (if you ever do in the future). "Being careful" doesn't work.

Here's a picture of it, it's on the passenger side head between the last two spark plugs. This one is a Jet-Fan switch from Jegs that turns on at 200* it really helps out a lot.

My Jet-Fan Switch instructions said to splice into the factory wire.
